This is the original cover of the book, published 25 years ago by Methuen. This was my first picture book as Jan Fearnley, and I’m so very proud of it.

I was later given the amazing opportunity to re-illustrate my story in my new art style (over 25 years, you change and grow and learn new ways of working) and so if you look elsewhere on this site, you can find the new edition.
